Singer J (Joey Yung) has worked her way up to become the reigning pop queen, but she owes much of her success to the machinations of her manager Man (Chapman To). Seemingly enjoying a glamorous life of fame and fortune, J actually feels like a caged bird, secretly yearning to retire as Man pulls her strings and controls even her private life.
